Survivor: Library Success in Difficult Times The six Massachusetts Regional Library Systems, in conjunction with the MLA Legislative Committee, are presenting this full-day session around the state to equip library directors, trustees, and Friends with the tools and confidence they need to advocate more effectively for their libraries at the local level.
Participants will leave with:
- Practical advice on making the case for library funding
- Clear understandings of how state aid requirements impact communities whose neighbors are decertified
- Re-usable tools to help calculate the value of local library service
Participants are asked to bring a brown-bag lunch.
