the New England Roundtable of Children’s and Teen Librarians present:

Rick Riordan: Mythology and Magic in the Classroom

Rick Riordan will discuss how his years as a teacher,
his love of mythology, and his son's struggles with learning differences combined to form the #1 New York Times bestselling Percy Jackson & the Olympians series.

Rick is also the author of The 39 Clues: The Maze of Bones, another #1 New York Times bestseller. He lives in San Antonio with his wife and two sons, and is a full-time writer.

Q & A and Book signing to follow. Books are available for pre-purchase, and a limited number will
be available at the event. Signing of outside books is limited to one per person.

This program is for library professionals only. Your registration confirmation serves as your ticket to the program. Children will not be allowed into the program. Due to high interest, ticket sales are limited to one per person, and purchaser must be a member of MLA, NELA, their New England state school library association, or currently enrolled in an MLS program.
